Mindy Bergman, Associate Professor of Psychology, Texas A&M University

Select Task Force Meeting of June 15, 2015 - Workplace Harassment: Examining the Scope of the Problem and Potential Solutions

Mindy E. Bergman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and a Faculty Fellow in the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center in the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University in College Station. She earned her PhD  in industrial-organizational psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her primary research focus is on occupational health psychology, emphasizing the relationship among organizational climate, workplace stressors (such as harassment or unsafe work conditions), and occupational and psychological well-being. She is a co-investigator on Texas A&M's NSF-funded ADVANCE-IT grant which focuses on institutional transformation to improve the success of women faculty in the STEM fields. Dr. Bergman's research appears in outlets such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business and Psychology, and Journal of Occupational Health Psychology.
